That's a rather subjective question, isn't it? I just took a five minute break to review Glamour's 50 Most Glamorous Women. Of course every one of them are actresses or public figures. Not knocking Hollywood or women in the public eye, but there are everyday women that are just as beautiful.
Who gets to decide what makes a woman beautiful? You do! The problem is that sometimes we allow the media to decide for us what makes a woman beautiful. And all too often, we don't measure up to that ideal. But that doesn't mean we are not beautiful.
If you were to make a list of the characteristics of a beautiful woman, what would they be?
- Honesty?
- Sense of humor?
- Confidence?
- Loving?
- Stylish?
- Sassy?
- Outspoken?
- Quiet?
- Intelligence?
- Shapely?
Most of us can define what makes a woman beautiful, but the harder question is often "What makes you beautiful?" We don't want to brag, or draw attention to us. Maybe sometimes we can't even think of anything that makes us beautiful.
But I want to encourage you to embrace your beauty. So go ahead and answer that question. Don't be shy. Let's get a good conversation going here.
What makes you beautiful?
