Erin, What an amazing, insightful piece. I loved your thoughts on the quote from Mother Teresa.

I think another thing that might be helpful is a strategy that I implemented recently that's really working. I made a list of self-care activities that refresh me, and share them with a few close friends and family members.

Then, I talk to one of them in the evening and we check in about the one I did.

It helps to keep me more balanced and centered, and keeps me from getting swept away with work because I know in the back of my mind that I need to make time for it because it makes me feel better, and because I'm going to be talking about it.

I love being able to celebrate that with someone.
